Postdoctoral position - Immunology
A postdoctoral position for a highly motivated researcher is available to join the lab of Dr. Eynav Klechevsky at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The Klechevsky lab is working to understand how dendritic cells influence the development of immunity and cancer. We take a broad and multidisciplinary approach, which spans basic biology and translational medicine, to address the role of novel dendritic cell genes and receptors to improve basic understanding of Dendritic Cell biology, and facilitate the development of improved diagnostics, vaccines and immunotherapeutics. Background on our research can be found by reading some of our recent papers. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=klechevsky
Requirements: Interested candidates are required to have a PhD degree in a relevant field with experience in the areas of human immunology, mouse models, cell biology, molecular biology. Knowledge in bioinformatics is an advantage. Superior problem-solving skills are needed, as are outstanding oral and written communication skills.
