Job Description


In this role, a results-driven individual will work closely with Corporate Account Leaders, Finance, Sales Executives, IT and other functions to provide metrics and analysis required to support business operations and meet its strategic and tactical objectives. In addition, this individual will manage the CRM (Salesforce) and help drive Thermo Fisher Corporate Account sales growth through appropriate compensation, communication, reinforcement and coordination of sales process/strategy. This position provides a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to demonstrate their ability to add significant value to Thermo Fisher Scientific. Specific duties are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align closely with IT and function as the Corporate Account CRM administrator
  • Assist corporate account sales teams and members with operational tasks, such as data analysis, policy execution, and negotiation with managers
  • Train and reinforce account management process, sales strategy and CRM documentation
  • Work closely with finance and sales leadership on salient projects, including incentive compensation analyses to develop plans, maximize impact and understanding.
  • Liaise with cross-divisional teams and channel information to appropriate parties
  • Integrate, compile, analyze and evaluate data on sales performance metrics
  • Provide ad hoc analyses to identify gaps, product/market trends and competitor impact
  • Organize monthly communication in order to ensure alignment and improve business results
  • Collaborate with Data Operations, Information Technology and other business stakeholders to drive high levels of data integrity and operational reliability of our standardized business analytics, tools and processes
  • On an annual basis, help develop and implement clearly defined clearly defined AOP targets and goals to ensure alignment with current Thermo Fisher goals, strategies and priorities
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments or reporting as needed

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years sales operations experience
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with high level of diplomacy
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid analytical capabilities with relevant understanding of CRM tool capabilities
  • Ability to communicate and reinforce Sales Models, Process and Strategy
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and history of meeting deadlines
  • Organized with demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and complete tasks
  • Commitment to continued learning, show career progression and development and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communication, Finance, Economics or other relevant field
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with high level of diplomacy
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint are required;
  • Experience with the CRM tool, Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
