Professorship for “Transport Planning/Transport Logistics” at the Department of Civil Engineering
What to expect:
You will teach at the Department of Civil Engineering (Bachelor/Master) focusing on transport planning (road and rail) and transport logistics.
You will also supervise and further develop the subjects of Surveying and Geographical Information Systems, ideally taking on additional basic subjects.
We are also confident that you will be involved in application-oriented research in the area of transport and logistics.
In addition to organising and delivering continuing education courses at the Department, you will also be involved in university self-government.
Your expertise is based on your degree in Civil Engineering and a recognised doctorate.
You also have several years' professional experience in transport, ideally in engineering companies, as well as practical knowledge in the areas of road design and the rail transport system.
You have solid experience in producing transport-related studies and expert opinions.
You also have knowledge of computer-based methods for designing traffic routes and for visualising complex traffic flows.
