Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Biomedical Imaging


The laboratory of Robby Weimer, in the Biomedical Imaging department, is seeking a motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to develop and apply next generation optical imaging techniques (e.g. high order multiphoton microscopy, stimulated Raman scattering microscopy, etc.) to drug development. Projects in the laboratory combine molecular, genetic and quantitative imaging approaches to model and study human disease pathophysiology in vivo. This position will focus on developing imaging approaches to study immune cell function in the context of neurodegenerative disorders and/or cancer immunology.

Who You Are

Candidates should have a PhD in Bioengineering or related field or in Neuroscience or Immunology with strong technical background in engineering, familiarity with methodologies in molecular, genetics and in vivo models, and a strong publication record exemplified by at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication. Qualified candidates must also have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, work well within a group and have familiarity and ability to work with in vivo models.
