HSC Senior Research Scientist:
This position will contribute to the university's mission through research and service. The main focus of the research is as follows: to understand HIV immunopathogenesis and use humanized mice reconstituted with a complete human immune system by transfer of hematopoietic stem cells as an in vivo model to study HIV immunopathogenesis and to validate novel molecular therapeutic targets for HIV.
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. 3 years of demonstrated experience as a researcher. Should have a record of activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of research.
Ph.D. in Immunology. Immunology experience. Experience with BSL 1, 2, 2+, and 3.
