HALF-TIME JUNIOR RESEARCH SCIENTIST IN BONE HISTOMORPHOMETRY

A junior research scientist position is available starting in the month of May or June 2017 in a bone histomorphometry facility at New York University Dentistry, New York.
Responsibilities would include, but may not be limited to, plastic embedding of small mammal bone specimens, rotary microtome cutting, slide mounting and staining. Training will be offered, but prior familiarity with histology preparation techniques required, and experience with embedding (preferably plastic) and microtome thin sectioning a plus. Candidate must have BA or higher degree. Candidates should be self motivated and organized, and be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English and to work as part of a team.
