About Us

Requirements & Treatment

1. Level Ⅱ (Leading Talents)

    Requirements: finalists of Thousand Talents Program, professors from famous overseas universities, senior researchers from renowned overseas research institutions, and other equivalent candidates (working at least 9 months in Jinan University per year), leading talents who can help the discipline catch up or remain an advanced level. In principle, nature science applicants should not exceed 50 years old while social science ones should not exceed 55 years old.

Treatment for Level Ⅱ

  1. Salary: no less than ¥800,000 per year(pre-tax);
  2. Supporting funds for research: no less than ¥5,000,000;
  3. Housing/settling allowance: no less than ¥3,000,000(pre-tax);
  4. Recruited ones will have the priority to recruit PhD students, post-doctors and research assistants;
  5. The university will help employees resolve the household registration issue, provide assistance in their children’s entry into kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools, and offer them high-quality medical service;
  6. The university can settle the job transfer of employees’ spouse;
  7. Successful candidates will enjoy one-stop service for high-level talents;
  8. Recruited ones are entitled to a temporary house and an annual ¥72,000 house-renting allowance (pre-tax, for 3 years).

2. Level Ⅲ (Prominent Talents)

    Requirements: finalists of Youth Thousand Talents Program, associate professors from famous overseas universities and research institutions, and other equivalent candidates. In principle, nature science applicants should not exceed 42 years old while social science ones should not exceed 47 years old.

Treatment for Level Ⅲ

  (1) Salary: no less than ¥500,000 per year(pre-tax);

  (2) Supporting funds for research: no less than ¥2,000,000;

  (3) Housing/settling allowance: no less than ¥2,000,000(pre-tax);

  (4) Recruited ones will be given the title of a senior professional post ;

 (5) The university will help employees resolve the household registration issue, provide assistance in their children’s entry into kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools, and offer them high-quality; 

 (6) The university will settle the job transfer of the spouse;

 (7) Successful candidates will enjoy one-stop service for high-level talents;

 (8) Recruited ones will be given a transitional house and an annual ¥48,000 house-renting allowance (pre-tax, for 3 years).

3. Level Ⅳ ( Top-notch Youth)

    Requirements: outstanding full-time talents from famous overseas universities and research institutions, excellent PhD students and postdoctors. In principle, applicants should not exceed 40 years old both in social science and nature science.

Treatment for Level Ⅳ

   (1) Salary: no less than ¥250,000 per year(pre-tax);

   (2) Supporting funds for research: no less than ¥500,000;

   (3) Housing/settling allowance: no less than ¥500,000(pre-tax);

   (4) If the employee makes outstanding achievements approved by the university after joining, he/she can apply for a senior professional title or secondary senior one in a “green channel” way (the title will be further evaluated and accredited within 3 years);

   (5) The university will help employees resolve the household registration issue, provide assistance in their children’s entry into kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools, and offer them high-quality medical service;

  (6) Recruited ones will be given house-renting allowance(pre-tax) for 3 years (senior title:¥36,000 per year; secondary senior title:¥24,000 per year) .

4. Level Ⅴ ( Excellent Youth Scholars )

    Requirements: outstanding youth talents from famous overseas universities and research institutions, and those promising and potential  PhD students and postdoctors who are badly needed by some subjects in Jinan University. In principle, candidates should not exceed 35 years old both in social science and nature science.

Treatment for Level Ⅴ

   (1) Salary: no less than ¥200,000 per year(pre-tax);

   (2) Supporting funds for research: no less than ¥200,000-500,000;

   (3) Housing/settling allowance: no less than ¥200,000(pre-tax);

  (4) If the employee makes outstanding achievements approved by the university after joining, he/she can apply for a senior professional title or secondary senior one in a “green channel” way (the title will be further evaluated and accredited within 3 years);

  (5) The university will help employees resolve the household registration issue, provide assistance in their children’s entry into kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools, and offer them high-quality medical service;

 (6) Recruited ones will be given house-renting allowance(pre-tax) for 3 years (secondary senior title:¥24,000 per year; intermediate title:¥18,000 per year) .
