Synthetic Biology Postdoctoral Fellowships (Multiple Positions Open)
The U.S. Army Research Laboratory Biotechnology Branch has an multiple open postdoctoral positions in synthetic biology. Candidates with synthetic biology experience are strongly encouraged to apply, and experience in non-chassis organisms highly desired. Projects will address a broad range of advances in non-medical materials discovery through living-hybrid systems for national security and defense applications.
The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) of the U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) is the Army's corporate, or central, laboratory. Its diverse assortment of unique facilities and dedicated workforce of government and private sector partners make up the largest source of world-class integrated research and analysis in the Army.
Stipend begins at 75K (commensurate with experience), and benefits include health insurance, relocation support, and yearly support for travel, including conference participation and travel between collaborative institutions as needed (with full travel support)
