Postdoctoral Position in the Genomics and Molecular Biology of Racial/Ethnic Disparities in Cancer
A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Norman H. Lee, PhD., at the George Washington University and GW Cancer Center. Our group focuses on the molecular basis of racial disparities in prostate cancer and hematologic cancers/disorders, with emphasis on elucidating the mechanisms underlying aberrant alternative RNA splicing and miRNA expression. The candidate should have experience in biochemical, genomics and molecular approaches. Previous experience in rodent models is desirable but not necessary. The position provides an opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of molecular biologists, bioinformaticians and clinicians.
Requirements: PhD or MD/PhD with strong interests in genomics and molecular/cellular biology.
Submit a cover letter summarizing your past experience, specific interests and CV including the names and contact information of 3 references.
