Post Doctoral Research Associate
Postdoctoral Position in Stem Cell Biology
A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the area of regulation of stem cell fate decisions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. In our lab we study regulation of pluripotency, self-renewal, differentiation and malignant transformation by ubiquitin E3 ligases and protein degradation. The candidate will be responsible for performing experiments using both hematopoietic and pluripotent stem cells, maintaining transgenic mouse models, and utilizing both genomic and proteomic approaches to address scientific questions. Relevant experience includes molecular biology, tissue culture of both primary cells and cell lines, proteomic techniques including mass spectrometry, flowcytometry, and mouse models. We seek a highly motivated candidate with a recent PhD in molecular biology and/or biochemistry. For more information on the lab visit www.buckleylab.org.
