Postdoctoral Fellow In Immunology
Postdoctoral positions available immediately, in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Croft at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LJI), to join a multi-disciplinary team that is focused on control of immunity by TNF family proteins. Projects will be to understand how proteins related to TNF drive lung or skin inflammation in models of asthma, atopic dermatitis, and psoriasis.
Motivated candidates with a Ph.D. or M.D in immunology within the past 5 years, and with broad interest in the pathogenesis of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases are encouraged to apply. Experience working in vitro and in vivo with immune cells and animal models of immune disease is required. A background in cytokine analysis, DNA/RNA studies, flow cytometry, and assays for in vivo inflammatory activity in animal models is preferred.
