A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available immediately at the LSU Health Sciences Center Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center for a self-motivated scientist with a strong research background in Cancer Genetics and/or Tumor Biology. The selected candidate will join Dr. Wanguo Liu’s laboratory to study ARD1-mediated AR signaling in prostate cancer and the genetic components contributing to prostate cancer aggressiveness using functional Genomics/Biochemistry/Cell Biology approaches. Primary responsibilities include designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, preparing research results for publication, presenting at national meetings, and assisting the PI in the preparation of grant proposals. Previous experience and publications in areas of Cancer Genetics, Tumor Biology, and/or AR signaling are preferred.
