Post-doctoral positions in stem cells

We are currently seeking to hire post-doctoral researchers to join our stem cell team, located in Doha, Qatar. The stem cell group focuses on using pluripotent stem cells, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and embryonic stem cells (ESCs) to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes, insulin resistance, and pancreatic beta cell differentiation. The successful candidates are expected to be highly motivated and creative team players, and will join a dynamic and highly collaborative scientific environment.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD degree in biological sciences or equivalent.
  • Solid experience in hiPSCs techniques, particularly iPSC generation, characterization, and differentiation.
  • Strong knowledge and ability to perform a variety of cellular and molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience in studying the pathophysiology of diabetes is preferable.
  • Experience in genome editing technology would also be advantageous
