Postdoctoral Research Associate
Postdoctoral Research Associate – Critical Care Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology. Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately for a highly motivated individual in the Departments of Anesthesiology to investigate molecular mechanisms of innate immunity, endothelial permeability, vascular inflammation, and pulmonary injury using structural, biophysical, biochemical and functional assays. The successful applicant will spearhead NIH-funded research project(s) and develop the ability to work independently. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in molecular cell biology or relevant field of study. Prior experience in the field of inflammation and lung injury is NOT required. However, applicants should have a strong publication record. Appointments and salary are commensurate with research experience, accomplishments and based on NIH guidelines.
