DESCRIPTION

A postdoctoral position is available in the field of Stem Cell Biology and/or Leukemogenesis at the Center for Cell Therapy (CTC). CTC is located at the Regional Hemotherapy Center of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (University of São Paulo – USP). CTC is a part of the Program of Research, Innovation and Dissemination supported by FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo).

The research at CTC focuses on stem biology and translational medicine with a multidisciplinary and collaborative efforts to: i) understand stem cell biology, highlighting pluripotent stem cells (embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cell) and somatic stem cells; and ii) to develop protocols for pre-clinical and clinical studies.

ITEMS REQUIRED

  • The candidate should have doctoral degree (PHD);

  • Previous experience in stem cell and/or leukemogenesis research, and knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques (basic and advanced) are highly valued.

  • Good written and oral English communication skills are essential.
