Project Scientist (Prostate Cancer Research)
A project scientist position is open in the Department of Pathology, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine to study prostate cancer. The ideal candidate has Ph.D. in a biology discipline, and several years of postdoctoral experience in cancer research. The candidate is expected to have strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry and an excellent tract record of peer-reviewed publication. The responsibilities are to manage a cancer research laboratory including its daily operations, compliance with regulations, creating and maintaining animal protocols. He/She will perform research under the guidance of the PI and will also supervise members of the laboratory on a daily basis.
