 With over twenty faculty and annual external research funding exceeding $5M, the department offers a vibrant collaborative community for research, scholarship and teaching. The department currently has 26 graduate students and over 450 undergraduate majors. Biochemistry is located on the central Blacksburg campus with access to world class core facilities and in proximity to other departments with overlapping interests.
