HIM (formerly known as the Institute of Basic Medicine and Cancer (IBMC)) is the first institute explicitly devoted to the R&D of medicine of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and is affiliated with the Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, as well as other hospitals. Leveraging this, we are able to more effectively address real medical problems. HIM is committed to solving fundamental issues in disease diagnosis, precision therapy, novel drug R&D, gene therapy, cell therapy, nanomedicine research, and artificial intelligence, as well as basic and applied research related to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control of diseases.
