The Division of Newborn Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital invites nominations for physician-scientists or PhD scientists in the field of developmental immunology to join the faculty, establish an independent research program with an appointment of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School,  commensurate with experience, training, and scientific achievements.

Primary responsibilities will include independent and collaborative research in the areas of fetal, placental, and neonatal immunology and the creation of new collaborations with other investigators in the Division in the areas of lung biology, neonatal transfusion medicine, regenerative medicine, neonatal genomics, and epigenetics of developmental diseases. We seek candidates who have developed highly successful fundamental or translational research programs relevant to perinatal biology and/or disease who will mentor and supervise trainees from the Harvard Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Training Program, one of the largest in the nation. This position comes with dedicated resources, including ample laboratory space and start-up funding. The research portfolio of the Division of Newborn Medicine is supported by NIH grants, foundation grants, and philanthropic gifts.
