A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Peter Storz at the Mayo Clinic, Florida, USA (https://www.mayo.edu/research/labs/tumor-development-immunology-progression). The project will focus on mechanisms that drive the development and progression of pancreatic cancer. A strong background in biochemistry, molecular cellular biology, mammalian cell culture, immunofluorescence and microscopy techniques is essential. In addition, basics in animal handling and animal models are required. For techniques and methods we typically use, please see our recent publications: Liou et al. Cancer Discovery 2015 5:52-63, Liou et al. Nature Communications 2015 6:6200, Liou et al. Cell Reports 2017 19:1322-33, and Bastea et al. Cancer Research 2019, in press). We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated and career-oriented to join an interactive research team. The research environment at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Florida is outstanding.
