Bioinformatics Scientist
Tulane Cancer Center Next Generation Sequence Analysis Core is seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist (MS minimum, PhD preferred [title and rank will be determined based on experience and degree]) with strong background in biology, statistics and programming. Expertise in python and R and familiarity with public genomic and clinical databases required. Primary responsibilities include development and utilization of new and existing bioinformatics tools to perform downstream data analyses supporting transcriptomic, genomic, epigenomic, metagenomic, and single cell investigations within the Tulane University biomedical research community as well as the development and utilization of multi-omics integration approaches.
