The Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position in biological sciences beginning in June of 2019. The position is a minimum nine month appointment and is renewable yearly. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Immunology and Microbiology courses in alternating semesters to undergraduates.  Candidates who have the expertise to teach both Immunology and General or Clinical Microbiology are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicant must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent terminal degree in Immunology, Microbiology or a related field and demonstrable teaching experience.  Desired qualifications include a strong record of exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level and good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and collegiality. The candidate selected for the position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is to begin, and continue working legally for the proposed term of appointment.
