The Role:

This Co-op role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing Human Resources team. You will work in Moderna's Human Resources department in Cambridge, MA and be involved with a variety of HR related responsibilities including supporting the HR team with day-to-day activities, managing the human resources voicemail inquires, helping with open enrollment and supporting business processes within our HRIS system (Workday). You will work in an environment that is fast paced, open to change and solutions orientated. We are bold in the solutions we create, curious in understanding what challenges and opportunities the business is facing and relentless in our ability to deliver result all while being collaborative and open to new ideas.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to organize Moderna Co-op events and strengthen the Co-op community
  • Manage and run the "Wellable Step Challenge" in September for Moderna employees
  • Help organize the Benefits Fair with the Total Rewards team
  • Support the onboarding of employees including prefunding the commuter plan and completing I-9 forms
  • Manage the HR voicemail email inquires
  • Support the mid-year and year-end review process for employees
  • Support business processes within and outside of Workday
  • Gain a deeper understanding of Moderna's four HR functions: Learning and Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Business Partnership
  • Provide general support to the Human Resources Team as required
  • Prepare and deliver a final presentation to summarize your Co-op projects and experience


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Minimum GPA of 3.4
  • Currently Enrolled Junior or Senior
  • Previous co-op or intern experience preferred
  • Flexible, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle matters of confidentiality with utmost tact and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize while performing efficiently and effectively within a very fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point)
