We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. within last three years in cellular and molecular immunology with an emphasis on the cancer immunology preferred. The Zhang laboratory functions as an integrated translational research program with the goal of designing and developing new immunotherapies and immunologic strategies for cancer treatment (For more info, JEM, JCI, Cancer Res, Immunity, Nature Comm, etc.). The project is focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms used for tumor immune evasion based on the cutting-edge technical platforms including CyTOF, Multiplex imaging and Single-cell Seq, etc.

The successful applicants should have a proven academic publication track record, including first-authored publications at high profile journals, as well as excellent scientific, organizational, record-keeping, problem-solving skills. The candidates will conduct independent research by characterizing the immune phenotypes of the genetically modified mice and/or human specimen using cellular and molecular immunological approaches including genome-wide gene/protein profiling analysis. The candidates are also encouraged to explore new research areas and seek independent funding as part of their own career development.
