A fellowship is available immediately to study the mechanisms responsible for the ablated vaccine responses during neonatal period. The project will involve the cellular and molecular characterization of innate cells and lymphocytes during vaccine responses. The overarching goal of this project is to improve childhood vaccines by modulating molecular and cellular targets unique to neonates with adjuvants.

The position is a post-doctoral fellowship through the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE).

Eligible candidates should have a recent MD, Ph.D., or equivalent (within 5 years of the degree) degree. Experience with flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology and the use of mouse in immunological research is essential. This position is only open for US citizens, permanent residents (Green Card holders) or individuals residing in US for 3 years during the last 5 years on a valid US visa.
