SmartAnalyst is recruiting an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our team. Our global oncology consulting practice is undergoing significant growth and we are looking for a qualified candidate to support the development of customized consulting projects for some of the world’s leading oncology pharmaceutical companies. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is scientifically adept and looking to apply those skills in a consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
- Focused on client delivery/client projects by providing support to engagement managers/project leaders:
- gather and analyze primary and secondary data sources to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses that will inform the project team and the client deliverable
- work collaboratively to translate findings into narratives and insights that will be communicated to the client
- assist in report writing/presentation development; develop sections of reports independently, depending on the project
- participate in client meetings as required
Desired skills, experience and qualifications:
· PhD or advanced degree in cancer biology, tumor immunology and immunotherapy, cancer pharmacology, experimental therapeutics or other cancer related areas
· 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or consulting; or postdoctoral fellowship training in a cancer related field
· 1-2 years of experience in hematology oncology preferred
· Ability to critically and strategically evaluate scientific data and information, and distill and synthesize key findings
· Demonstrated capability in writing and presentation skills
· Excellent time and project management skills
· Able to work in a collaborative, knowledge driven, fast paced environment
· Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
· Ability to work independently, as well as ability to work as member of a team
· Ability and interest in attending scientific, medical, and industry conferences as needed
