Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty Positions

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) requests applications for two (2) full-time, 12 month appointment, non-tenure track Assistant Professor faculty positions. The positions will be located in Dallas, Texas and the selected applicants will be strongly encouraged to begin working in May 2019. The successful candidates will teach pharmaceutical science courses (e.g., pharmacotherapy, medicinal chemistry and pharmacology), aid in problem-based learning, engage in scholarly activities, and provide service to TTUHSC.  Other duties and responsibilities will be as agreed upon with the department chair. The position will require collaboration with other TTUHSC faculty members at university campuses in Amarillo, Lubbock and Abilene. Preference will be given to candidates who have a professional degree in pharmacy, experience in teaching and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology or biomedical sciences, broadly defined (for one position) and medicinal chemistry or chemical biology (for the second position).
