The Houston Methodist Cancer Center is an established Center of Excellence noted for is distinction in clinical care, research, and academics.  Adjacent to the Houston Methodist Cancer Center’s clinical facilities lies the Houston Methodist Research Institute; a 440,000 square foot translational research building, focused on the development of cures and supporting all phases of clinical trials.   The Houston Methodist Cancer Center is currently accepting applications for multiple faculty positions at the followings areas:

Professor of Cancer Research

The Houston Methodist Cancer Center is currently accepting applications for a top scholar and leader in the area of Cancer Biology, including but not limited to, genomics, epigenetics, metastasis, and the tumor microenvironment. Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree with established expertise in a targeted field of research, a track record of sustained and ongoing nationally funded research program, and an outstanding record of collaborative cancer research-related activities.  A successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish the Cancer Biology program in the area of research that best suits his or her interests and is expected to maintain a vigorous externally funded research program.

Primary appointment will be in the Houston Methodist Research Institute, with a potential appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College upon additional approval.
