The Department of Surgery’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School seeks a Research Scientist/Investigator at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. The ideal PhD candidate or PhD graduate would possess a degree in Health Sciences and Technology, Bioengineering or a related field. Strong preference will be afforded to those with a specific background in Biomechatronics. The candidate must demonstrate very strong professional, academic and teaching skills in the following areas: bioengineering, technical lab training, research question formulation, project planning and management.
