Job Summary:
Shriners Hospitals for Children - Portland is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow to join our Research team! A Postdoctoral Fellow is sought to carry out research focused on molecular mechanisms of skeletal development and disease. The research will focus on developmental disorders caused by mutations in FGFR3 (achondroplasia) and its downstream effectors (rasopathies) and will employ mouse genetic models, cell culture assays and biochemical and molecular analyses of cell signaling. Experience in interrogating cell signaling and molecular and histological analyses of animal tissues is desirable. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Peter Hurlin at Shriners Hospitals for Children on the Oregon Health & Science University campus. Interested individuals should be a PhD graduate, provide a CV, and three letters of reference.
