Professor (HS), Associate Professor (HS), Assistant Professor (HS)

The Department of Oral Biology invites applications for multiple full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. We seek outstanding individuals who have, or are capable of establishing, independent, funded research programs.  Research areas of particular interest include:

• Glycomics in Oral Health & Disease
• Clinical Research
• Oral Microbiome, Mucosal Immunology, and Host Defense

Other related research areas will also be considered. Candidates who bring expertise in immunological, biochemical, bioinformatics, and/or molecular biological approaches are encouraged to apply, as are those with dual degrees (e.g., DDS/PhD, DMD/PhD, MD/PhD).

Successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of the department, to include instruction of MS, PhD, DDS, and post-DDS specialty students, and mentorship of Oral Biology PhD students and post-doctoral fellows.  Candidates should hold DDS, DMD, MD, PhD, or equivalent.  Successful applicants will have – or show the clear promise to obtain – significant research funding, a national/international research reputation, and appropriate teaching experience.
