We are seeking a TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (m/f) to join our PROTEOMICS-DRIVEN DRUG DISCOVERY TEAM

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our team. The successful applicant should have an excellent background in molecular biology with a focus on protein biochemistry. The main duties include the development of a scalable pipeline to identify the protein targets of small-molecule drugs via different quantitative proteomics readouts, as well as biochemical assay development. The goal of this project is to develop drugs to eliminate disease-relevant proteins via a targeted protein degradation, and thereby to innovate novel therapeutic strategies for life-threatening diseases. The initial duration of this position will be for 1 year with an opportunity for a contract extension.

General laboratory management and organizational skills are also part of the job requirements, including the establishment of SOPs and protocol development. A solid understanding of basic molecular biology techniques and tissue-culture would be highly desirable. A high standard of English and general communication skills, plus a basic competence with computers are necessary requirements. Additional skills in mass spectrometry or chemistry would be a bonus.
