Post-Doctoral, Research Associate/Scientist

Dr. Ruiwen Zhang’s laboratory at College of Pharmacy, University of Houston has Four (4) NEW post-doctoral, research associate/scientist positions available immediately. The lab is nationally and internationally recognized for researches in cancer biology, cancer pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. The research team includes experts (PIs, faculty, and senior scientists) on cancer biology, drug discovery and development, medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, preclinical and clinical pharmacology, toxicology, and pharmaceutical sciences. Recent publications appear in high-impact journals (e.g. Gastroenterology, Nat Comm, Cancer Res, Clin Cancer Res,  Nat Review Cancer, PNAS, EMBO J, BBA Review Cancer, Med res Review, & Oncogene, etc).

Requirements: PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related sciences; Strong publications; Hands-on experience in molecular biology and biochemistry, genetics, genomics, transgenic models, medicinal chemistry or synthetic chemistry, biomaterials, drug delivery, nanomedicine; Knowledge and skills in drug discovery and/or development.
