Postdoctoral position available to study cytolytic T cell- and chemoradiation-stimulated tumor cell death upon signal transduction via the second messenger ceramide. Cell death signaling focuses on the role of ischemia-reperfusion injury induced SUMOylation defects in the context of homologous recombination misrepair. Proprietary small molecule and gene therapy vectors under clinical development represent a major strength of this program.
