Postdoctoral positions: pluripotent stem cell-derived human lung organoids
Three postdoctoral positions are available at the Columbia Center for Human Development, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, New York in the laboratory of Dr. Hans-Willem Snoeck (www.snoecklabstemcells.org) to study 3D lung organoids derived from human pluripotent stem cells (see Chen et al. Nat Cell Biol., 19:542-549, 2017). One project will focus on approaches to introduce blood vessels and innate immune cells. A second project will involve genome-wide analysis of the developmental trajectory of these 3D organoids. A third project will use organoids to model idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. MD and/or PhD degree and minimum commitment of 4 years are required. Published expertise in stem cell biology or developmental biology and/or in bioinformatics are desirable. Please send CV and names of three references to Dr. Hans-Willem Snoeck, firstname.lastname@example.org.
