We are recruiting a goal-oriented, creative, collaborative and highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow, specialized in cell and molecular biology. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be engaged in basic and translational research projects focused on the study of mechanism of reduction of adiposity induced by an FSH antibody. Our recent study on the antibody has been noted in The New England Journal of Medicine, and in Nature Medicine, which named this work as one of eight “notable advances” in 2017. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related field in biomedical science. The Postdoctoral Fellow should have extensive experience in the use of genetically engineered mouse models, histology, quantitative NMR, micro-CT, DNA, RNA and protein isolation and analysis. Working experience in antibody purification, bone or fat biology, or experiences in large-scale dataset analysis through the use of programming languages would be an advantage. Additionally, the Postdoctoral Fellow should be keen to learn, be highly motivated, work well with others and immerse himself/herself in the ongoing research of the laboratory. In addition, the potential candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and be eager to present research results at national meetings.
