Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics
The Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School (http://dbmi.hms.harvard.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track opening at the Assistant Professor level.
The successful candidate will develop an independent research program in biomedical informatics, broadly defined. Areas of interests include, but not limited to, machine learning (applied to clinical, imaging, and/or genomic data) and decision sciences (applied to clinical workflow and/or diagnostic/therapeutic decision making) as well as bioinformatics and genomics. We seek a candidate who will be a leader in his/her respective field and share our vision for transforming biomedical science and healthcare.
A candidate must have a PhD and/or an MD and a proven track record of outstanding research. All faculty are expected to contribute substantively to our educational programs through teaching and mentorship.
