The Incoming Inspector is responsible for the sampling and inspection of all raw materials and packaging components received at LPO and the stamping of the material required. The Incoming Inspector is also responsible to trains and qualifies area personnel and reports status in accordance in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

We have two positions available for second shift. These positions are based in Merck Las Piedras and do not include relocation assistance.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Associate’s Degree or higher degree in Science.

*
Two (2) or more years of experience in QA or Laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry.

*
Basic knowledge in laboratory techniques is a must.

*
Flexible and available to work along side the hours of production.

*
Must have good communications skills in oral and written, in Spanish, and comprehension in English.

*
Computer Literate. Knowledge in Microsoft Office.

*
Strong customer focus skills.
