Assistant, Associate or Full Staff (Full Professor Equivalent)
The Liver Disease Research Center in the Department of Pathobiology in the Lerner Research Institute at the Cleveland Clinic seeks investigators who use multidisciplinary approaches to understand causes of and treatments for liver diseases, particularly alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver disease. The department seeks to hire investigators using state of the art cellular and molecular approaches to the study of liver disease to complement existing strengths.
Individuals will receive appointments as Assistant, Associate or Full Staff (Full Professor equivalent), as appropriate. Applicants with Ph.D., M.D., or dual degrees are particularly valued. The department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. New recruits will join a highly collaborative environment with outstanding opportunities for interactions with basic and translational researchers, as well as with clinical investigators. The successful candidate is expected to establish/have established an innovative, extramurally funded research program.
