Lanzhou University of Technology, founded in 1919, is located in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. It is a national key construction university of “Central and Western Higher Education Promotion Plan”, and is jointly built by People’s Government of Gansu Province and National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau. After 90 years’ construction and development, our university has become a multi-disciplinary coordinated science and engineering university with a relatively strong points in engineering, ever-improving standard of science and a certain characteristics in arts. At present, out school has 20 Colleges, one Teacher& Research Department, and sets graduate school and graduate school, Wenzhou Branch. There are nine categories of disciplines: Engineering, Science, Management, Literature, Laws, Education, Medicine, Art, and Economics. There are five postdoctoral research stations, five first-level doctoral stations, 25 second-level doctoral stations, 18 first-level master stations, 92 second-level master stations, and we have professional degree-awarding power for Master of Engineering (18 authorized areas), Master of Business Administration, Master of Accounting, Master of International Business, Master of Laws, Master of Arts. There are two national defense special disciplines. Our university has 16 provincial key disciplines, among which Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Hydraulic Machinery, Energy and Power and other disciplines have formed a clear advantage, and Engineering and Materials Science are into ESI Ranking and rank the first 1% in the world. . Types and conditions of recruitment

Basic Requirements:

(First) High-level Leading Talents

First level: Academician of Chinese Academy of Science, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the same level personnel

Second level: Distinguished professor of “Thousand People Plan”, leading talents of “Million People Plan”, distinguished professor of “Changjiang Scholar” of Education Ministry, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, finalists of “Hundreds talents Plan” of Chinese Academy of Sciences, chief scientist of National “973” project or the same level personnel, overseas talents should be influential professors from well-known universities; the age should be not more than 55.

The person who has been selected in “Thousand Youth”, “Youth Top-notch Talents”, “Young Changjiang Scholar”, “Science Foundation of National Excellent Youth”, “Promotion Program of Innovative Talent”.

(Second) Academic Leaders

1. National candidate of New Century Million Talent Project, young and middle-aged experts who have made outstanding contributions for country, the person who has been selected in “New Century Talent Support Project” of Education Ministry and the same level personnel.

2. Professor who has a certain influence at home and abroad academia; associate professor who has the potential of development in overseas well-known university; the person who has innovative ideas and strategic thinking for the construction of this discipline, and has the ability to lead this discipline in its cutting-edge areas and catch up with the international advanced level; the person should have a doctorate, and the age should be not more than 45.

(Third) Academic Leaders and Academic Elites

The person generally should have a doctorate, the age of academic leaders should be below 40, the age of academic elites should be below 35 (the requirement of major which is lack of talents can be appropriately loosened); the person who can be competent to teach the core course, and be able to undertake the tasks of postgraduate training and undergraduate teaching; the person who has outstanding performances in relevant academic fields; the person who has a great development potential, and has innovativeness for construction and academic research of this discipline, and has the ability to catch up with the international advanced level; the age limit should be appropriately broadened for the person who has the overseas study background or outstanding scientific research results.

(Fourth) Ph.D. Graduates

The person who has a doctoral degree of high-level research university, and obtains a doctorate degree, the first degree must be an ordinary full-time undergraduate degree. The person who gains the doctorate of high-level university at abroad (or outside China) is preferred; the person should have a solid professional theoretical foundation, a strong teaching and research capability. The person’s major should be in the same direction with needed major, and the age should be not more than 35.

(Fifth) Post-doctoral

1. Overseas High-level Postdoctoral

Foreign students or Chinese overseas students who have obtained the doctorate degree at abroad; the person who obtains doctorate degree in the world’s top 100 universities at abroad or outside China in the past three years or the discipline is in the world’s top 100; the person who has outstanding research results during the period of doctor; the age generally should be not more than 35.

2. Teacher Postdoctoral

The person who has a doctoral degree of high-level research university, and obtains a doctorate degree, the first degree must be an ordinary full-time undergraduate degree. The person who gains the doctorate of high-level university at abroad (or outside China) is preferred; the person who has outstanding scientific research performance during the period of doctor; the person can choose jobs by self-determination, and the age is generally not more than 32. The person who qualifies the quatification-appraisement and has an outstanding scientific research performance can be used as a teacher (staffing of government affiliated institutions) in school.

3. Ordinary Postdoctoral

The person who gains the doctorate degree at home and abroad; the age should be not more than 35.

(First) High-level Leading Talents

The first level

1. Provide RMB 5 million for work-starting

2. In accordance with the school price, provide 120 square meters availability (the price is about RMB 2650-2850/ square meter, and it is 1/3 of average price in Lanzhou.) or provide expert apartment (for free), and the setting-in allowance is RMB 600,000; buy medical and other social insurance. In addition, enjoy the relevant treatment from the province in accordance with the provisions of Gansu Province on the introduction of high-level personnel.

3. Annual salary is not less than 1 million.

4. Provide conditions for scientific research and office, and give slanted support in graduate enrollment and other aspects.

5. Handle the occupation mobility of spouses and children, and solve the issues about children’s education.

The second level

1. Provide RMB 0.5-3 million for work-starting for Science and Engineering, 0.3-1 million for Arts.

2. In accordance with the school price, provide 120 square meters availability (the price is about RMB 2650-2850/ square meter, and it is 1/3 of average price in Lanzhou) or provide expert apartment (for free), and the setting-in allowance is RMB 300,000; buy medical and other social insurance.

3. Annual salary is not less than 0.7 million.

4. Provide conditions for scientific research and office, and give slanted support in team construction, graduate enrollment and other aspects.

5. Handle the occupation mobility of spouses and children, and solve the issues about children’s education.

(Second) Academic Leaders

1.  Provide RMB 0.3-1 million for work-starting for Science and Engineering, 0.2-0.5 million for Arts.

2. In accordance with the school price, provide 120 square meters availability (the price is about RMB 2650-2850/ square meter, and it is 1/3 of average price in Lanzhou) or provide expert apartment (for free), and the setting-in allowance is RMB 250,000; buy medical and other social insurance.

3. Annual salary is not less than 0.5 million.

4. If the spouses meet the requirement of career opportunities, he (or she) can be introduced by open recruitment, or if he (or she) is in line with the relevant policy about personnel transfer of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, he (or she) can handle the personnel transfer.

5. Solve the issues about children’s education.

5. Solve the issues about children’s education.

(Fourth) Ph.D. Graduates

1. Provide RMB 0.05-0.2 million for work-starting according to academic results.

2. In accordance with the school price, provide 90 square meters availability (the price is about RMB 2650-2850/ square meter, it is 1/3 of average price in Lanzhou) or provide expert apartment (for free), and the setting-in allowance is RMB 80,000 or 150,000; buy medical and other social insurance.

3. Annual salary is not less than 0.1 million.

4. If the spouses meet the requirement of career opportunities, he (or she) can be introduced by open recruitment, or if he (or she) is in line with the relevant policy about personnel transfer of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, he (or she) can handle the personnel transfer.

5. Solve the issues about children’s education.

    Remark: High-level talent with outstanding academic achievements can be negotiated through the “one person, one solution” approach. The treatment of part-time workers can be negotiable. The treatment of high-level talent can be negotiable in accordance with actual situation for the professor who has lecture, academic exchange and “intellectual introduction” in a short period.

(Third) Post-doctoral

1. Provide overseas high-level postdoctoral with annual subsidy about RMB 0.3 billion; provide teacher postdoctoral with annually wage no less than RMB 100,000; provide non-serving ordinary postdoctoral with annual daily living expense about RMB 80,000.

2. Provide postdoctoral turnover apartment, and enjoy social insurance, children-enrollment.
