The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Florida seeks a highly self-motivated postdoctoral associate to work on a project studying mechanisms responsible for aortic aneurysm formation. The successful applicant should have research experience in Vascular Biology and application of molecular and cellular techniques. Candidates with expertise in small animal surgery and omics analysis are highly desirable. Applicants must be creative, possess an exceptional work ethic, and independently complete experiments and data analysis. Other duties include, but not limited to, writing abstracts and manuscripts for publication and submitting research proposals. Salary will commensurate with experience and first-author publications.
Candidates must have a PhD or an equivalent degree.
