The Department of Cancer Immunology & Virology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Department of Microbiology & Immunobiology, Harvard Medical School invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.  We are seeking highly motivated individuals with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence who are working on central problems in immunology and cancer immunology.  Cancer immunology is now one of the most exciting frontiers in cancer research, and recent clinical trials have shown that immunotherapies can induce durable responses in diverse types of advanced cancers. 

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a major research center in the Boston area, and the institute and the department offer a vibrant and interactive research community in both basic and translational immunology research. The faculty appointment will be in the Department of Microbiology & Immunobiology at the Harvard Medical School.

The position provides an attractive start-up package and outstanding opportunities for collaboration with basic and translational investigators.  The Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School offer outstanding technical resources in many areas, including mass cytometry, flow cytometry, imaging, proteomics and genomics.  Candidates are expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Harvard Medical School for medical students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
