Junior Faculty, Group Leader and Postdoctoral Positions at the Institute of Basic Sciences - Center for Genomic Integrity at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Ulsan, South Korea
The recently established Center for Genomic Integrity of the Institute of Basic Science (IBS-CGI, http://cgi.ibs.re.kr/html/cgi_en) at UNIST (http://www.unist.ac.kr) in Ulsan, South Korea has multiple openings in the newly established Chemical and Cancer Biology Branch. We are looking for life scientists, chemists and biologists to help build a world class research center in the broad area of DNA repair and genomic integrity.
Junior Faculty / Group Leaders will have the possibility to develop an independent research program, contribute to ongoing projects at IBS-CGI and move on to a tenure-track position. As the institute is core-funded, grant writing will not be required.
Postdocs may join ongoing projects investigating the mechanisms and regulation of mammalian DNA repair pathways and their connection to cancer therapy or propose their own project.
IBS-CGI is fully government funded, offers outstanding resources to conduct research, state of the art core facilities, technical support and an intellectually stimulating environment. Administrative support for the transition to Korea, relocation allowance, and on-campus housing are available in a science-friendly national environment.
